Story Submission - Terms & Conditions
1. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
2. You confirm that you have the permission of others who have contributed to or are featured in any content that you submit for it to be published and used in accordance with these terms and conditions. That includes that you have permission for their personal information to be disclosed and used. If there are any individuals under the age of 18 in any photos, video, or other content that you submit, you confirm that you have obtained the permission of each such individual’s parent or legal guardian prior to submitting the content.
3. For any content that you submit, you give us permission to use such content. You confirm that you will not receive any payment for the content from Kubota or anyone else. You hereby grant to Kubota (NZBN 9429047388000) a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, incorporate into other works, distribute, perform, display, and otherwise exploit such content, in whole or in part in any form, media or technology now known or later developed.
4. By submitting Content, you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to release and hold harmless Kubota and its directors, officers, staff agents, employees, affiliates and assigns from any and all liabilities, damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your submission of content, including when arising from infringement of intellectual property rights of third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kubota assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from or in connection with content you submit.
5. We have the right to contact you on the email address you provide at our discretion in connection with the story and our use of it.
6. Your story must be true (no fiction, please).
7. It should be previously unpublished.
8. We cannot give feedback or acknowledge receipt.
9. Aim for at least 500 words in length.
10. You agree that we will collect, use, hold, disclose and protect personal information you provide in accordance with our privacy policy.
11. Participation in this activity is not in any way a game of chance.
